Service Description
Hokkaido's waters are some of the most productive in Japan. We run two kinds of guided fishing trips out of Otaru: harbor fishing along the coast for accessible, family-friendly half-days, and private fly fishing on Hokkaido's rivers for those after something quieter and more remote. Pickup and drop-off is available within the Otaru city area — just let us know if you need it. We offer separate pricing for adults and youth, making it easy to bring the whole family along. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult who is also purchasing the session. We've put in the time to learn Hokkaido's coast and rivers properly: where the fish are running, when the tide is right, how to read each spot. Gear, bait, and know-how all included.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 24–48 hours before your session will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your session are non-refundable. Sessions run rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by your guide. In the event of a weather cancellation initiated by us, a full refund or reschedule will be offered. No catch is guaranteed — fishing is dependent on natural conditions beyond our control.
