This is exactly the kind of day the Ocean SUP & Snorkeling package was made for.

Our guests joined us at Otaru Geihinkan for a session on the crystal-clear coastal waters — gliding along the cliffs, weaving past dramatic rock formations, and taking in views of the coastline that you simply can't get from land. The water stayed calm and glassy most of the morning, giving everyone — including first-timers — the confidence to relax into their paddling rhythm.

With a certified instructor guiding the group and a full safety briefing before launch, nobody needed prior experience to enjoy the ride. By the time the group reached the open stretch near the cliffs, paddlers were standing tall and moving with ease, taking in one of Otaru's best-kept views from the water.

And what's a great day on the water without celebrating it properly? Paddles up, big smiles, and a well-earned group photo out on the boards — followed by a seafood and BBQ spread that made the whole day complete. Fresh shellfish, shrimp, sardines, and perfectly grilled meat and vegetables, shared with the group after a morning of paddling.
